Victorie Inc. stoneware oil lamps are a hard, high fire ceramic, that falls between earthenware and porcelain. They are durable, heat stable, and waterproof. Since they are not made out of terracotta clay they will not seep oil. They are made to enjoy and be used.
During Paul's journeys he would have used lamps similar to these to be his light to guide him and write letters to the Churches.
